Spots usually come out. One thing to know: a spot can look gone while the carpet is wet, then reappear after it dries. That's called wicking, and it happens when something soaked into the carpet backing or pad. We clean with that in mind, using an encapsulating rinse so any soil that wicks up during drying can be vacuumed away. We won't lie and promise every deep spot is gone forever, but we'll tell you what to expect before we start.
Usually, yes, but it depends on how deep the urine went. If it stayed near the surface, a regular cleaning handles a lot. If it reached the backing or pad, surface cleaning makes the carpet look better without solving the source. For those cases we use an enzyme treatment that needs dwell time to break down the organic material causing the odor. That's why pet jobs are priced differently than a regular traffic-lane clean. We'll tell you what we're looking at before we start.
